The Connaught at the heart of London’s most exciting avant-garde retail district on Mount Street has joined forces with fashionable neighbour Moynat and vintage jeweler Susan Caplan to launch the Bijoux Box.  The beautifully handcrafted Moynat trunk featuresexclusive vintage jewellery pieces as a gleaming tribute to another era, be it the pendulum designs of the Swinging Sixties, the gold rush of the Seventies or the out-and-out bling of the Eighties for guests staying in The Mews to borrow during their stay free of charge.

Should guests be reluctant to part with their choices, the pieces are also available for purchase.

Susan Caplan has an instinctive eye for unique jewellery pieces and travels the world in search of true treasures. Susan has personally selected some of the rarest finds from designer heavy-weights and mavericks such as Givenchy, Christian Dior and Chanel for The Connaught. Susan Caplan says: “I am very pleased to be part of this special project between Moynat, The Connaught. Both brands are steeped in history and to be able to make that history accessible to guests with unique pieces of jewellery is an exciting moment to be involved in.”

The Mews is a private townhouse offering guests the best of both worlds; world class Connaught hospitality along with keys to their own front door. This one of a kind residence with its own entrance on Adam’s Row, is designed by influential architect Michael Blair from Blair Associates Architecture, and has been built over three floors to look and feel like a private house in the center of the city for the ultimate discerning traveller.
