WHERE TO EAT & DRINK IN MAYFAIR | JANUARY 2018
This week, I have included some healthy hot spots for those looking to start 2018 with the best foot forward. For those of you who want to knock back a few drinks to help you into the back-to-work rush, there's a bar feature on its way, so please don't panic and disown me. I am in team 'good' this month and you'll probably spot me pacing around Mayfair trying to satisfy my new FitBit. Happy New Year!
Please feel free to email me at victoria@thelondonmusings.com if you'd like to check in with any dining related enquiries.

2.) Lunch at Fera, Claridge's
Fera at Claridge's is named after the Latin word for ‘wild’, reflecting the powerful connection to nature that is at the heart of the restaurant. The visually stunning set lunch menu at Fera is available Monday to Sunday, an excellent option for those looking for something fresh, light and healthy. Inspired by the seasons, the kitchen at Fera only uses exceptional ingredients that are harvested in their prime, ensuring an exciting and diverse menu. The chef’s table can be booked for up to six people.
3.) Afternoon Tea-Tox at Brown's Hotel
Since opening on Albemarle Street in 1837, Brown’s Hotel has hosted esteemed guests, from royals and presidents to world-famous authors. For £60, guests can experience afternoon tea with a twist in The English Tea Room. 'Afternoon Tea-Tox' is an exciting collaboration between Brown's Hotel and blogger sensation Madeleine Shaw, designed to satisfy your afternoon tea requirements without the over-indulging guilt that so often follows.
4.) Dinner at Novikov
Novikov Restaurant & Bar combines a superlative culinary offering with innovative contemporary interiors. The Asian restaurant is perfect for those looking for something light and flavoursome, such as white miso soup, classic and new style sashimi for those avoiding carbs. There is also a selection of steamed dim sum options, exciting salads and vegetable dishes. For those avoiding alcohol, Novikov also offer fresh juices and non-alcoholic cocktails.
5.) Alcohol-free Cocktails at Sexy Fish
Sexy Fish offers a Virgin Bellini, made with mandarin and rosemary soda stirred with elderflower cordial and topped with soda water in a Champagne flute; and a Driver’s Julep, a blend of agave, cucumber, chilli and homemade tonic, finished with ginger ale. Who said dry Jan had to be boring? You can view the cocktail menu and read The Fish Tales (great read) here.
